Firecrackers Stomp San Jose Latinos
June 9th, 2008
After a brutal first meeting that included several
questionable tackles, the Firecrackers and San Jose Latinos squared off
again at PAL Stadium. The 8pm start time allowed many fans to
attend the game, including a fan all the way from Michigan!

from Michigan.
The game would be another hardly fought contest with
the Firecrackers breaking through early. As the goals piled up,
Justin Basanese hit a shot for the ages.
With the 'Crackers leading 4-1, Justin took a pass
from David Ahlgren, and fired a laser in to the upper left corner,
leaving the Latinos' goalkeeper stunned.
Ronnie Jenkins, the man of the match, would add his
second goal of the game a few minutes later to cap the scoring at 6.
In two games, the Firecrackers outscored the San Jose Latinos by a total
of 9-1!
The Firecrackers move to 6-1-1 as they prepare to
face off with Deportivo Agave next week at Watson Bowl.
